Colonial Hotel  |   Alianz Estudio, 2019

Is it possible to combine contemporary style with Colombian colonial architecture? The formal exploration led to look for purity among the soft lines that were combined with the beauty of the coast and the dense vegetation of the Costa Rican Pacific.

The project is a 5-room boutique hotel, with social spaces of amplitude that recall the character of the oligarchic estates of the colonization period. It also combines certain finishing touches of modern architecture, with gestures that complement the traditional forms of seventeenth-century America.
